BrightMed: BSMS’s Widening Access To Medicine Scheme

I’ve blogged previously about BrightMed. It’s brilliant. Have a look here if you haven’t already.

Today we tried two twitter-based experiments with our Year 12 students. It went better than any of us expected, and looks promising for even more possibilities in the future.

I’ve incorporated narrative and explanation within the following two Storify collations for the day:

Widening Access To Medicine With Twitter – an online case discussion using #twitfrg

A Personal Statement in <20 Tweets – a lesson in writing a great personal statement and being concise whilst doing it!

I really want to be apart of BrightMed, and have sent an application in.
Do you remember when an applicant should expect a reply from the BrightMed organisers?
